[ Mithos anticipates the difficult sparring session. They've just been through a rough trial, after all. But Mithos was ready for this, immediately lifting his sword to fend off McBurn's swing and countering.
He can feel McBurn's lack of reprieve and Mithos is glad for it. This time there was no holding back from the beginning which, to him, meant they've come a ways since their first sparring session.
While he's still not as strong as McBurn, he'll still strike fast as as hard as he can, and even try a few tricks up his own sleeve this time. After all, they do have an audience, and Mithos does not want to disappoint said audience. ]
